This month we welcome Drew Woodruff, PE City Engineer of the City of West Richland to O’Callahan’s in the Shilo Inn in Richland.
The Bombing Range Road Outfall Elimination Project will retrofit the City’s existing storm water collection and conveyance system along the Bombin Range Road corridor between Laurel Drive and Van Giesen (SR 224). Currently storm water runoff from BRR is collected and conveyed to an existing outfall structure located at the CID canal crossing at the intersection of BRR and Van Giesen which then discharges to a canal. This retrofit will now pipe collected runoff to new underground storage and infiltration structures that will allow the City to discontinue the use of this outfall structure at the canal. The retrofit will consist of the installation of a CONTECH underground corrugated metal pipe (CMP) system. This project is being funded in partnership with the Washington State Department of Ecology through a grant.Register at the following link: http://events.r20.constantcontact.com/register/event?oeidk=a07e93ps0yv6bd44fe7&llr=tpugxclab&showPage=true
